Euclid Chemical Announces Retirement of Tom Gairing, Appoints Rusty Maglionico as President

Cleveland, Ohio, Sept. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Euclid Chemical, a leading manufacturer of specialty chemical products for the concrete and masonry construction industry, announces the retirement of President Tom Gairing, after three decades of service and leadership. Russell “Rusty” Maglionico has been appointed president of the company, effective September 10.

Since joining Euclid Chemical in 2002, Gairing has held numerous leadership roles across procurement, supply chain, operations and executive management before becoming president in 2019. Throughout his tenure, he has helped transform the company's approach to sourcing, operational efficiency and customer service while guiding Euclid Chemical through a period of significant growth and industry change. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its market presence, strengthened its commercial capabilities and continued investing in solutions that support customers across the concrete construction industry.

Rusty Maglionico brings nearly three decades of experience in concrete construction and specialty construction materials to his role as president. Prior to joining Euclid Chemical in 1999, he followed in the footsteps of his father and grandfather as a concrete contractor, contributing to numerous high-profile construction projects throughout the Cleveland area. His hands-on experience in the field provides a unique understanding of the challenges contractors face and has shaped the customer-focused leadership style that has defined his career.

During his tenure with Euclid Chemical, Maglionico has held a series of leadership positions, most recently as vice president of sales and marketing. In that role, he helped expand the company’s North American sales organization, strengthen customer partnerships and grow Euclid Chemical’s market position. His experience across both the construction and manufacturing sides of the industry provides him with a broad perspective on the needs of contractors, distributors and other customers the company serves.
